Carpet Repair — FAQ

7 of the most common questions we get about carpet repair in Western New York.

Can you fix pet-damaged carpet?+

Yes — chewed edges, dug-up corners, and stained sections can all be patched with a donor piece from a closet or extra roll. Odor treatment is a separate step.

How much does carpet repair cost?+

Most single patches run $150-$300. Multiple patches, re-stretching, or seam repairs are quoted after inspection.

Will the patch be visible?+

When we have a matching donor piece, the repair is virtually invisible from standing height. Without one, we can often take a piece from a closet.

How long does repair take?+

Most single-room repairs finish in 1-2 hours. Multi-room jobs or re-stretching may take longer.

Can you repair burns?+

Yes — cigarette and iron burns are among the most common patch repairs. Small burns can sometimes be fiber-blended without a patch.

What about seam separation?+

We re-seam with heat-activated tape and blend the fibers so the seam disappears.

Do you fix rippling and buckling?+

That's a stretch, not a patch — see our carpet stretching page. Same visit if we're already onsite for repair.
